Newcastle Climbing Centre is the newest wall to open in Newcastle. It offers bouldering and roped climbing up to a height of 15m with an impressive overhanging roof, auto-belays, and a comprehensive shop.

It is constructed in St. Marks church at the southern end of Heaton’s Chillingham Road, and is two minutes from Chilli Road Metro station. The club meets here most Wednesdays. You can get there by jumping on the metro at Monument (heading for the coast via Wallsend) and get off at Chillingham Road

The wall is open 10am to 10pm Monday to Friday and 10am to 8pm on weekends.
Entry prices are as follows:

A one off Joining Fee of £2.50 (pays for a shiny membership card)
A yearly Membership of £15 (this saves you £1 each time you come!)
Prices are excluding membership. Off peak times are 10am – 4pm excluding holidays)
Student Admission £6.50 (peak) £5.50 (off peak)
