Unfortunately the university and club do not own any climbing facilities, however we have strong links with all of the major climbing walls and shops in the city, with many only a walk, cycle or (if you’re feeling lazy) a metro ride away and with most offering student discount climbing in the city has never been so easy!

• Climb Newcastle – When you can’t get outdoors to boulder head here!
• Newcastle Climbing Centre – An brand new high quality wall with some great leading, auto belays and why not try the chalanging roof
• Berghaus Wall – Newcastle’s city centre climbing wall.
• Sunderland Wall – Try the 23m high Sunderland climbing wall.
